Feeding is all about nutrition and energy.
Feeding is all about nutrition and energy. Age, breed, weight, and energy output all influence your dogs nutritional requirements. Weather and stress levels can, too. While adult dogs can be fed once a day, growing puppies, pregnant or nursing mothers, or high-energy working dogs may need to be fed multiple times per day.
Be sure to monitor your dog’s weight and adjust accordingly.
It is not necessary to do a gradual mix of X-series and your previous dog food. We recommend switching directly to our food. We suggest you start with a little less X-series than your previous food, monitor and adjust as needed.
Adding cool water to the food immediately before feeding increases palatability and aids in your dog’s digestion and hydration. Always keep clean, fresh water available for your dog.
