Redpaw Athletes Win Big at 2012 The Pas

The Pas sled dog race, held in Manitoba, Canada, was run February 16-18 during the 65th annual Manitoba Trappers' Festival.

In the 10-dog race, 2 Redpaw-sponsored athletes took first and second places. Buddy Streeper won first place, taking home a $9,000 purse. Lina Gladh took second place, running the b team.

Top 2 Finishers at 2012 Race to the Sky

Montana's Race to the Sky sled dog race is one of the most challenging long distance races in North America. The course crosses the continental divide and, and its peak, reaches a staggering 6,000-foot elevation. This year's race ran February 10-15.

First and second place went to two Redpaw-sponsored athletes, Warren Palfrey and Laura Deaugereau, respectively.

Strong Showing at 2012 Yukon Quest

The 2012 Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race started on Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Fairbanks, AK. Covering 1,000 miles between Whitehorse, Yukon and Fairbanks during the depths of the Arctic winter, the Yukon Quest is known for excellence in canine care and fostering the traditions of northern travel by dog sled.
